INFORMATION ON THE WEB

Lasik information is not hard to find.  It's on the web.  It's in the paper.  It's in the Yellow Pages.  It's everywhere. The best information I get is from those who have had the procedure itself.  Jim, my buddy from the support group, has had the procedure.  He got it done early on, and he has not had any side effects.  His wife, Sue, has had the procedure too.  She loves the fact that she no longer needs glasses or contact.  Even my uncle, who is 77, has had it done.   I will get it done.  But I'm always fearful on anybody around my eyes.  I may get a few consultations in the next couple of weeks, and then decide what to do.  I will be happy once I get it done.  I am so sick of carting multiple pairs of glasses around.  I'm always losing a pair.   They are like socks.  You just end up losing them, and you don't know how.  When I get the lasik I will be free of all that.  So I have an appointment for next Wednesday, at a clinic close to here.  Tara is going with me to one of the appointments, and if she is satisfied with the doctors she may have it done herself.
