EMAIL LIST

I'm not sure how it happened, but I've ended up on every mailing and email list in the world related to diabetes.  One company even sent me afree glucose meter.  Jim got one too.  I'm thinking we may have gotten on the list from the hospital's support group.   I was going to buy a meter, so this proved to be a good deal, and there were no strings attached, nothing to sign, nothing to do.  Jim was happy too.  We both arrived at the support group at the same time.  We both had our meters with us, and we compared them.  They were exactly the same.  Mr. Callahan came down the hall, and he had a meter too.  They must have sent everybody in the group a meter, and it turned out that they did.  Actually, it came from the hospital through the support group.  It turned out that everybody brought their meters with them.  Everybody got a laugh out of this.   I found it funny that we all brought our meters, but when the leader got up to speak she said that stamped right on the outside of the box were instructions to bring the meter to the support group meeting.  Funny, I thought I got that idea all on my own.
