AN INTERNET THIEF

Just like most people who live in this technologically dominant time period, I download most of my music off of the Internet. After all, what are the chances of someone actually caring enough to file a lawsuit? I never even downloaded that much music; I would download maybe ten or twenty songs per month. Well apparently, the music companies do indeed care that I have been downloading their artists’ music. Apparently I am an “internet thief.” I was sued for everything that I was worth. After bankruptcy, I don’t think that I will continue to download music off of the Internet. How unlucky would I get that out of millions of people, I was selected to have lawsuits filed against me. I’m sure that there are people who download way more than me. After bankruptcy, my boss is going to think twice before promoting me. Of course, my employer was informed of my lawsuits and bankruptcy. Now, my boss seems to think that I am an irresponsible criminal; he probably downloads music off of the Internet all the time. I wonder how they managed to track me. I run a firewall constantly. How could they slip something past that and find logs of all of my activities and files?
